최근 디렉TV에 KBS월드 채널을 런칭한 KBS 아메리카가 디렉TV와의 파트너십을 공식적으로 발표하는 기념 행사를 열었다.

5일 베벌리힐스 팔레이 미디어 센터에서 열린 이날 행사에는 디렉TV와 KBS 아메리카 관계자는 물론 한인 사회와 방송 업계 인사 150여명이 모여 축하를 전했다. KBS는 지난 8월부터 디렉TV 한국어 방송 패키지를 통해 뉴스와 다큐멘터리부터 '아침마당' 등의 교양과 '1박2일' '개그 콘서트' 등의 예능까지 폭넓은 콘텐츠를 전미 시청자들에게 제공하고 있다.
